An article from West Branch said that they have found what they believe to be enslaved people's graves at the other side of the North Liberty cemetery but they ran out of grant money. And came across a picture of the William Maxson gravel house. It is just a copy and not the best, but it is the same house as your pictures. The caption reads picture taken 1878 and in the picture are Walter James, Joseph Phelps from Ohio and James and Hannah Phelps who purchased the house in 1866.
